If you live in a period or listed building and are looking to enhance your lifestyle with a hardwood conservatory, garden room or orangery then please talk to us. We are experienced in obtaining planning consent for listed building applications, and highly recommend that you speak to or visit our customers to hear firsthand how we manage the entire process.
Every Opus conservatory is handmade to specification so you can be assured the design and materials used will complement the age and architecture of your home and blend with the surrounding environment. We can advise you on the best location of your conservatory or orangery and the design most likely to be approved by the local authority, planning and conservation officers. For example, an orangery may well be more acceptable where the property is listed and/or predates the Victorian era and/or is in a Conservation Area or one of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Whatever the age of your property or the complexities of planning, we undertake the design and maintain regular communication with the local authorities. If your property is particularly distinctive or in a sensitive area, we will work with the Listed Planning Officer and other interested parties to determine what is required to comply with all requirements. At Opus Conservatories our aim is to deliver your dream and minimise the disruption and inconvenience to you.
If you would like more information about Period and Listed Buildings or to discuss you requirements in more detail or to make a ‘no obligation’ appointment, please contact us.
